IMA, NA, AFA And OTA In UPSC: Eligibility, Age Limit & Other Details

Year by Year, UPSC is governing combined exam aiming at the selection of freshers longing for joining Indian Defence Services. This exam is organized two times in a year. Generally, it is existing as CDS exam.

UPSC CDS Exam 2019 age limit:

The institute wise age eligibilities for CDS (I) 2013 exam are as follows.

For IMA: Unmarried male candidates born not before Jan 2, 1990, and not after Jan 1, 1995.

For IMA: Unmarried male candidates born not before Jan 2, 1992, and not after Jan 1, 1995.

For AFA – Unmarried male candidates born not previous to Jan 2, 1991, and not after Jan 1, 1995

For OTA SSC Course for Men: Candidates born not previous to Jan 2, 1989, and not after Jan 1, 1995

For OTA SSC Women Non-Technical Course: Unmarried women, issueless widows, issueless divorcees are suitable to apply, and it will be essential to not be born before Jan 2, 1989, and not after Jan 1, 1995.

CDS (I) 2019 exam educational eligibility:

For IMA and OTA – Applicant must be a Graduate from a recognized University or equivalent.

For INA: Degree in Engineering is required

For AFA: Ought to have a Graduate degree from a prominent University and it would be essential to have Physics and Mathematics in 10th and 12th or they could hold a degree of Bachelor of Engineering.

Applicants who are following the final year of Degree will also be suitable for CDS. In all these, they will require to comply with the evidence qualification certificate on the definite specified dates.
