UPSC Exams: UPSC not only conducts Civil Services Exam it also conducts Combined Defense Service Exam Stenographers Exam Indian Engineering Service, Central Police Force Exam, NDA exam, Indian Forest Service Exams, Indian Economic/Statistical Service Exam, Combined Medical Service Exam, The Geologists Exam, and SCRA exam.

UPSC 2020 Date

UPSC 2020 exam dates will be released soon on the official website. UPSC is also known as Civil Services Exam is will conduct in the month of June 2020. Therefore, it is expected to publish notification in the month of February 2020 and the last date for the application is March 2020 these dates there tentative.

UPSC 2020 Notification

UPSC is going to publish the notification for the 2020 Civil Services Examination in the month of February 2020 and online applications can submit before 6.00 PM on the last day of the summit March 2020. Once the notification will be the release you will get all the information in details.

UPSC 2020 Exam Pattern 

 Every year around 4- 5 lakhs of candidates appear for the exam and only around 1000 are got the selection. UPSC Civil Services Exam is a three tire exam process as per Syllabus. This exam pattern consists of three stages. 

  1. Preliminary Exam

Preliminary Exam will conduct in the month of June and consists of objective type of question. Those who cleared the preliminary exam are only eligible for the Mains Exam. The Prelims exam is objective type exam and it includes two papers General Studies Paper and CSAT.

      2.  Mains Exam 

Mains Exam is a detailed and descriptive exam in nature this will conduct in the month between November and December. Those who cleared the preliminary exam are only eligible for the personal Interview.

Mains exam includes 9 papers, including optional (2 papers), which is descriptive in nature. Therefore, English language paper and regional language papers are qualifying in nature. Four general Studies papers, Essay paper, and 2 optional papers are importantly considered for merit, along with interview marks.

      3. Interview Section

Those who cleared Prelims and mains exam are only eligible for the interview section. After this, the result will be released. The UPSC 2020 result will be released in the month of May 2021.

UPSC 2020 Eligibility Creteria

  1. Education Qualification

Candidates who have passed their graduation from universities incorporated by an act of central or state legislature in India.

Candidates those who passed from deemed university as per section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1965.Posses an equivalent qualification.

Final year students or those who are waiting form the results are also eligible for the UPSC exam.

There is no percentage restriction for the UPSC exam.

  1. UPSC Exam Age Limit

The candidate must be minimum 21 years old. Age limit is calculated as on 1st of August every year which exam takes place.
