Apply online for UPSC


UPSC will make an announcement of UPSC Registrations for the purpose of completing the UPSC application form online.

  • Visit the official page of upsconline.nic.in
  • Go for the application form on the home page.
  • Now select PART 1 for the registration along with the details such as Name, Parents name, Date of birth, Permanent address etc.
  • Once the registration is done, aspirants will get a registration no.
  • Now the aspirants will have to log in with details for registration PART 2 and must fix the scanned image of photo and signature
  • Submit the application fee which is RS.100 by using the credit card, debit card, and net banking.
  • Take the print out of the form after downloading it from the website.

The UPSC, generally known as IAS exam is led by Union Public Service Commission to recruit Civil Services Officers, each year. The Exam is directed in 3 stages-

  • Prelims
  • Mains
  • Personality Test

Selection Procedure for UPSC 2019 Exam 


A per UPSC Notification 2019, the given stages will be measured for final selection. UPSC Mains exam and Interview marks will be well thought-out for final selection list.

Stage-1: Preliminary Exam (Objective type questions)- In the Prelims exam, the questions will be of the objective in nature. It is the initial level you will be required to qualify meant for the Mains exam.

Stage-2: Mains Exam (Descriptive Type)- The UPSC Mains exam is eloquent in nature. Aspirants who have qualified the Prelims exam will be taken into account for Mains exam. UPSC Mains will be held in October 2019

Stage-3: Personal Interview (275 Marks)- The personal interview, recognized as IAS interview generally is the final stage for UPSC Recruitment. It is usually conducted in the month of March.
